Back-end Development refers to the creating, building, and maintaining of websites. It includes aspects such as Front-end Development, web publishing, web programming, and database management. It is the creation of an application that works over the internet i.e. websites.
Front-end Development encompasses many different skills and disciplines in the production and maintenance of websites. The different areas of Front-end Development include web graphic design; UI design; authoring, including standardised code and proprietary software; UX design; and SEO.
